Amaju Pinnick Vows to Revamp Nigerian Football
The new President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Melvin Pinnick , has said that although he never planned to contest for the position, he is grateful for the Divine intervention that got him there.
Pinnick revealed he had only intended to be the chairman of the NFF Electoral Committee until outgoing President of NFF, Aminu Maigeri opted out for re-election and listed him as one of the people to succeed him.
He vowed to “redefine” Nigeria football while also thanking President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for his support since he was elected.
He also thanked other people who made it possible for him to emerge as the new President of NFF and those who have contributed to his career, including Elder statesman, Dr. E.K. Clark, Governor Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan and Senator David Mark.
