Amaechi Finally Condoles With First Lady over Mother’s Death
Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi has sent a condolence message to the first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, expressing sadness over the death of her mother and praying God Almighty grant the departed eternal rest.
Madam Charity Oba, mother of the wife of the president, who died on 22nd July, 2013 in an auto crash along Isiokpo/Elele road in Rivers State at the age of 67 would be buried on Saturday in Okrika, in Rivers State.
The governor also, in the condolence message coming after more then 3 months of Madam Oba’s death, prayed for the family of the first lady asking for strength from heaven to bear the huge loss.
It will be recalled that the Governor and the First Lady have not been on good terms for some months due to personal and political differences.
