Ali Modu Sheriff reports to EFCC over Allegations of Mismanagement of Funds

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Thursday quizzed the former governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sheriff, over alleged mismanagement of N300 billion during his tenure.
After allegedly turning himself in, Sheriff reportedly spent over seven hours at the commission’s office in Abuja and is likely to be invited again as investigations continue.
It was learnt that Sheriff was interrogated over his roles in alleged cases of misappropriation, embezzlement of funds and abuse of office while he was governor.
