Akwa Ibom’s APC Governorship Candidate Ekere Honoured By New Telegraph Newspaper
Dr. Nsima Udo Ekere, the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC); who is also the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate for Akwa Ibom State for the 2019 election was honoured with an award at the 2018 edition of New Telegraph Awards . The event took place at the Balmoral Hall of Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Saturday, 18 November 2018.
Present at the event were some distinguished individuals like Chief Dan Chukwudozie of Dozzy Group, Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu; Chairman, BUA Group, The Minister for Works, Power, and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), and Minister for Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi to mention a few.
Dr. Nsima Udo Ekere, a native of Ikot Oboroenyin, Edemaya Clan in Ikot Abasi Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State was presented with the Corporate Leadership Award for the second time in a row having won same in 2017. As humble as he is, the outstanding qualities that characterized him puts him in limelight both in the country and globally.
Known for his great achievements even as the Managing Director of NDDC, admiration and endorsement keep rolling in from all classes of people within and outside the country.
In appreciation, Dr. Ekere thanked the Management and Staff of the New Telegraph, for finding him deserving of the honour, and promised to continue improving lives as much as he could do without lowering the acceptable set standard.
The flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election in Akwa Ibom State have received commendations and accolades from the people as the best candidate for the seat of Akwa Ibom State Governor come 2019.
