Ajimobi commiserates with late ex-Oyo CJ’s family

Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has commiserated with the family of Justice Moshood Adio over the death of the former Chief Judge of the state.

The governor, in a statement issued in Ibadan on Monday by his Special Adviser on Media, Dr. Festus Adedayo, described the death of the politician as shocking and disheartening.

“The news of the death of Justice Adio came to me as a rude shock. His death as at this critical period of our national life is unfortunate, disheartening and sad,’’ he said.

Governor Ajimobi described the late Justice Adio as a man of integrity and an incorruptible judge, stressing that his used his position as the Chief Judge to revolutionalize the Judiciary and reposition it as the last hope of the common man.

He recalled the several landmark judgments delivered by the deceased as a judge of the state High Court, all of which he said showed Justice Adio as a man of conscience and integrity.

While praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased, the governor beseeched God to grant the family of the late Chief Judge the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
