The Nigerian Air Force has vowed to intensify its onslaught against the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria’s north-east region.

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sadiq Abubarkar, said this on Thursday during an operational visit to the Air Force Base in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

He assured Nigerians that “no stone will be left unturned in the fight against Boko Haram insurgents in the Northeast.”

The Air Force chief also vowed that the Air Force would intensify assault on crime perpetrators in the South-south region.

According to Abubarkar, “All hands are on deck to ensure that the Air Force in Nigeria restrategise for air combat in the nation’s renewed effort to clamp down on insurgency in the North-east, as well as deal with security challenges in the Niger-Delta.” (Channels TV)
