Ahmed Musa shines in Moscow Derby, Dedicates Goal to Mother
Super Eagles’ striker Ahmed Musa has said he is excited to have scored the winning goal for CSKA Moscow in 1-0 win over Locomotiv Moscow on Sunday.
Musa, who has now scored four goals in his last four games in all competitions, scored the only goal of the Moscow derby in the 33rd minute when he fired in a shot from outside the box to take the Russian champions to second spot on the league table with 18 points after eight games.
“I am so happy and delighted to have scored the goal that gave us victory in the match. It was a derby and it was tough,” he said.
“The goal is for my sweet mother, she has always been there for me, she encouraged me a lot in my choice of career.”
