AGAIN,TWO NOTORIOUS CULTISTS ARRESTED FOR ARMED ROBBERY IN OGUN
The Ogun State Police Command,in its bid to get the state rid of cultists,has arrested two suspected members of Eye confraternity for robbing some commercial motorcyclists of their motorcycles at gun point on Wednesday in Ogijo,Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun state.
The police operatives attached to Ogijo Division of the Command ,while on surveillance in the area with the members of Vigilante Srevices of Ogun State,received a call from the victims of the robbery,and swung into action immediately when the suspects,David Abulumen,m, and Mayowa Olajide,m,who are notorious members of Eye confraternity,were arrested at about 1130hrs.
Items recovered from the suspects included a gun,assorted charms and two robbed motorcycles .
The Commissioner of Police Ogun state,CP Abdulmajid Ali,has commended the police and Vigilante Services personnel who actually carried out the operation that led to the arrest of the notorious cultists who have been terrorizing the innocent people of Ogijo area in the state. CP Abdulmajid Ali has also directed that the matter be handed over to the department of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence for proper investigation and prosecution.
The Police Boss however reiterated his determination to hunt for cultists and hoodlums who are creating security threats and fears in the minds of the good people of Ogun State,and curtain their nefarious activities accordingly.
