After Only Hours of Deliberations, Jury Convicts Utica Man of Murder
After just a few hours of deliberations, jurors have convicted a Utica man of murder.
Darnell Howard was found guilty around 12 p.m. Wednesday.
Howard shot and killed 22-year-old Rose Ortiz outside a Rome bar last year.
She was an innocent bystander who was hit when Howard fired shots during an argument.
In addition to second-degree murder, Howard was also convicted of first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.(TWC News)
