Champions League: Eto’o Out Of Atletico’s Match

Chelsea marksman, Samuel Eto’o has been declared not fit for today’s first leg UEFA Champions League semi-final tie with Atletico Madrid.
According to information emanating from the Blues’ camp, the star striker would be absent due to a knee injury.
It was however gathered that playmaker Eden Hazard will be in the squad despite a two-week absence with a calf injury,
Branislav Ivanovic is suspended, meaning, David Luiz could play at right-back or Ashley Cole could return on the left.
Both Nemanja Matic and Egyptian Mohamed Salah are also ineligible after playing for other clubs earlier in the competition.
Provisional squad expected from Chelsea include: Cech, Cole, Luiz, Ramires, Lampard, Torres, Oscar, Mikel,Schurrle, Van Ginkel, Hazard, Ba, Willian, Schwarzer, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Kalas, Hilario and Ake.
The game is expected to kick off at 7.45hours local time in Nigeria.
The other semi final match would see Real Madrid hosting defending champions, Bayern Munich at the Bernabeu stadium tomorrow.
