3 Civil servants killed, 5 women abducted in latest Boko Haram ambush in Yobe

Three Civil servants have been reportedly slaughtered and 5 women abducted by men of Boko Haram in Gujba local government area of Yobe state Friday evening.
The victims it was learnt had traveled to Damaturu the state capital to withdraw their monthly salary since there was no functional bank nor ATM in Gujba town due to the activities of Boko Haram which had paralaysed economic activities in the area when the incident happened.
Boko Haram members according to report waylaid the victims at the gate of College of Agriculture Gujba, whom they mistook for soldiers because they put on soldiers trousers.
One of the survivors said, “it dawn on us when we were stopped and order out of the vehicles to lay down on the road. We were robbed and three among us were slaughtered and thereafter they ran into the bush with about 5 women”.
