23% Saudi workers dissatisfied
Some 23 percent of Saudi employees are not interesting in continuing with their current jobs, local media said, quoting a survey carried out by the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue.
On the other hand, nearly 42 percent of the respondents said they would leave their current jobs if a better opportunity comes up, said the survey.
The survey also addressed the phenomenon of rumors circulating in Saudi society.
Half of survey participants of 1,000 people said they were keen on authenticating the accuracy of rumors before recirculating them.
Almost two-thirds of those interviewed, however, said they rarely verify the source of rumors before exchanging them with others.
Only 11 percent of respondents admitted they circulate unfounded rumors, while almost half of all respondents said they seldom change their opinions toward an issue based on a specific rumor, the survey found.
