Keshi Impressed by Super Eagles’ Draw with Bafana Bafana
Stephen Keshi has said he is impressed by the Super Eagles’ show of spirit in their Africa Nations Cup qualifier against South Africa on Wednesday.
Although the Eagles played a 0-0 draw against the Bafana Bafana, Keshi said: “The game was not bad. I thought it was good tactical play and good play by Bafana. (there was) a bit of improvement from my players … a lot better than what we did on Saturday.
“We have not been together and it’s taking time to gel. I’m not satisfied, but I liked what I saw. he said.
Nigeria currently sit in third place in Group A with a point from two matches after losing 3-2 to Congo, who top the group with six points from two games while South Africa is in second with four points.
