16-year-old boy arrested for killing 78-year-old woman

A 16-year-old Togolese house boy who stabbed his boss’ mother to death is now singing like parrot at the custody of Lagos State Police Command.
The suspect, Hounvenou Christian Youine, from Togo according to the police stabbed the old woman several times with a kitchen knife.
Police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, said on July 1, 2014, one Ajoke Olatorera went to Pen Cinema Police Station to report that her 16-year-old house boy, whom she left at home with the old woman, simply identified as Maria Atinuke, while she went for a night vigil had been slaughtered.
Braide disclosed further that, “The scene of crime was visited by a team of detectives while two sharp knives and a mortar pestle were recovered.
“The whole house was scattered as a result of a struggle. The suspect was thereafter arrested and he had made useful statement to the police
What could have prompted the act of the boy remain unsolved.
“The corpse was in a pool of blood. “The corpse was evacuated and deposited in mortuary.”
