Two trains collided at the Booyens train station in Johannesburg South Africa, wounding no fewer than 100 people, emergency workers said.

TVC News reported: “Apparently the two trains collided but this is still subject to investigation,” ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.

“One of the trains has derailed.” He said the train station was filled with injured people with minor to moderate injuries.

“We’ve got roughly 100 patients on scene… we are busy treating and triaging patients,” Meiring said.
