The governor, who cast his vote at Unit 1, Ward 10, Iyamho in Etsako West Local Government Area of the state, spoke to the press afterwards and accused some INEC staff of deliberately trying to frustrate the exercise, saying such people should be duly punished.

The Governor also blamed the low turnout of voters on the frustration caused by the faults encountered with the card readers.

Although the Presidential and National Assembly elections held on March 28 were rift with errors of card readers, there was a reportedly low occurrence of such errors nationwide.
