Yelutide: Ogun Police, DSS Collaborates On Adequate Security In Ogun

Ogun State Police Command and Department of State Services in the state have put measures on ground to provide adequate security for lives and property of the people in Ogun State.
This was disclosed by the Police spokesman in the state, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi in a release issued on Wednesday.
According to Adejobi, the deliberation and collaboration came to front burner when the new Director of the Department of State Services for the state, Mr Kabiru Sanni paid a courtesy visit on the Commissioner of Police, CP Abdulmajid Ali at the Police Command headquarters Elekweran Abeokuta on Monday.
He said the Director DSS, who was accompanied by his lieutenant, Mr Folorunsho Alade, Deputy Director Administration, on the visit, appreciated CP Ali for his good sterling leadership qualities and commitment to collaborate with all stakeholders in security business, particularly security agencies in ogun state.
The Commissioner of Police, who was assisted by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Finance and Administration, DCP Celestine Okoye, Deputy Commissioner of Police Investigation and Intelligence DCP Shina Olukolu, Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations DCP Bello Makwashi, ACP Rotimi Adelesi and Muyiwa Adejobi, PPRO, received the Director and his entourage to the command headquarters where some security plannings and strategies were adopted for effective policing of the state.
Earlier, CP Abdulmajid Ali reiterated his commitment to flush out cultists and criminals out of ogun state. He further emphasized on having robust Intelligence- driven policing by incorporating stakeholders with regular security workshops for all concerned in the state.
The statement said, with the deliberation, it’s obvious that the two security agencies will harness all available resources within their reach to solidify the existing security networking in Ogun state,the Gateway State.
