Police Commission approves promotion of 3,684 Inspectors to ASPs

Nigeria Police Service Commission has approved the promotion of 3,684 inspectors to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
The approval is contained in statement issued by Mr Ikechukwu Ani, Head, Press and Public Relations of the commission in Abuja on Sunday.
The statement added that eight pilots were promoted from ASP to the rank of Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP) and two aircraft engineers to DSPs.
The promotions, it stated took effect from Jan. 1.
