EID-EL-KABIR: IGP Felicitates With Muslims ……Orders massive deployment of Police personnel, logistics to ensure hitch free celebratio

As Nigerian Muslims join their counterparts across the world to commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir Celebrations, Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase has felicitated with Muslims in Nigeria on the occasion.
In his message of felicitations, issued by the force spokesperson, ACP Olabisi Kolawole, Arase said, the Nigeria Police Force will provide robust security throughout the period of the festival.
He has ordered effective and extensive deployment of personel including movement of neccesary logistics to all nooks and crannies in the Country.
The police boss has equally mandated all Assistant Inspectors-General of Police and Command Commissioners of Police to ensure adequate security with standard operation procedures before, during and after the celebrations to secure key and vulnerable points, Eid-praying grounds and other places of worship including public places and recreation centres.
IGP Arase, enjoined Nigerians to always report any act of criminality to the police at all times as the Nigeria Police are prepared to take prompt and decisive actions, On behalf of the entire officers and men of Nigeria Police, he wishes all Muslims, Happy Eid- El- Kabir.
