‎Court Remands 3 for Kidnapping, murder of teenager In Prison Custody

 An Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ado Ado-Ota Local Government  of Ogun State, on Tuesday, remanded three suspected kidnappers in prison custody.

The suspects who were alleged to have kidnapped one Olalekan Olajide are,  Isaac Uche, 49, Sunday Aneato, 26, and 18-year old Opeyemi Sodeinde.

Chief Magistrate (Mrs) A.O. Abimbola, who is presiding over the case after prosecutor had read the charges to the accused, ordered the them to be remanded in prison custody pending the legal advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPPs). 

The accused persons, with no fixed addresses were  facing a three-count charge of kidnapping, murder and conspiracy. 

Prosecutor, Cpl. Abdulkareem Mustapha, had told the court that the accused persons and others still at large, committed the offences on June 11 at about 7.30 am, at No.10, Basiriju St., Baby O Bus-Stop, in Ota. 

According to him, the accused persons and their accomplices conspired among themselves to kidnap an 8-year – old Olalekan Olajide, and in the process, killed him.

 Chief Magistrate Abimbola adjourned the case till Sept. 4 for mention.
