‎Breaking News: IGP redeploys Lagos, Ogun, Rivers CPs

Nigeria Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase has ordered the re-deployment of Commissioner of Police, Lagos, Ogun and Rivers. 
According to a statement by Force Public Relations Office, CP Emmanuel Ojukwu, the redeployment, which is with immediate effect is in line with the determination of the IGP to inject fresh ideas in the security architecture in the affected states and some other Force Headquarters Formations.

In the new postings, CP Ajani Fatai Owoseni is now CP Lagos; Abdulmajid Ali moved to Ogun while Chris Ezike is the new Rivers State Police Commissioner.

CP Dan Bature moves to Abuja as CP in-charge Intelligence FCID, Force HQ; Valentine Ntomchukwu, former CP Ogun is now CP Admin Department of Logistics and Supply while Hyelasinda Kimo Musa is the new ‎CP Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSAR/FCID FHQ, Abuja.

Kayode Aderanti, the immediate past Lagos CP is now
CP Admin Department, Operations, FHQ, Abuja and E. J. Ibine ,CP Port Authority Eastern Command, while CP Ogbusua Aja Oleh is the new Provost, Force HQ, Abuja.

The statement emphasis that the IGP expects that the new postings will reverse the crime wave in the affected states, while also strengthening administration in the affected strategic Force Headquarters Formations.
