Army Repels Terrorists, Many Killed

Nigeria Army troops early Friday morning repelled an attack by Boko Haram fighters in the Gwoza area.
According to DAILY POST report the sect members suspected to have come from Sambisa Forest opened fire on troops at about 4am.
It stated that in the ensuing battle that lasted about 3 hours, many fighters were killed as the fire power of the troops sent them scampering.
Many arms and ammunition were recovered, while normalcy has returned to Gwoza.
Gwoza is one of the territories recovered recently by the Nigerian Army.
