‎Army Nabbed Boko Haram Commander, killed Another

Nigerian Army troops from 3 Divisions have arrested a suspected Boko Haram kingpin, identified as Alhaji Tijjani Usman Damagum.

A security source said the insurgent believed to have led Boko Haram militants on many attacks in the state, was tracked down and arrested at Damagum town, Yobe State Monday.

Damagunm is said to be undergoing interrogation at a military location with a view to arraign him soon.

‎Also, a notorious Boko Haram Commander, who has been terrorising residents of Kwatarcha Torikwaptir in Gwoza local government, was on Monday killed by the army troops, who recovered his AK-47.

During the operation as explained by our military source, four terrorists were believed to have escaped with gun shot wounds.
