‎Anambra CP Decorates 4 CSPs, Declares ‘Operation Raid’ On Criminals’ Hideouts

Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, Mr Hassan Karma, has decorated four Suprintendents of Police promoted to Chief Suprintendent rank. At the decoration ceremony head at the police command headquarters, Akwa, COMPOL Karma announced ”Operation Raid” on all criminal hideouts and camps from August 20 as part of his strategies to chase out criminals in the state. ‎

Karma, while decorating the men, expressed gratitude to the Inspector General of Police for finding his men worthy of elevation, and charged the new CSP to continue to show exemplary work attitude.

He also encouraged them to perform better in order to qualify for more promotion, cautioning that the command would not hesitate to discipline any of them found wanting.

Speaking on the command crime fighting efforts, the Police boss said, it will be “Operation Raid” on all known criminal hideouts and camps from 20th of August. According to Karma, the state was at its best in terms of security, stating that the command would not relent in its efforts to suppress criminals, as well as maintain crime free status in Anambra State.

The state police command have recently arrested and recovered arms from suspected armed robbers, who made an attempt to rob unsuspecting members of the public before been caught in Ogidi in Idemili North and Oraifite in Ekwusigo Local Government Areas of Anambra State, South-East Nigeria.
