6 Suspected Armed Robbers Arrested, Operation Vehicle Recovered in Ogun

Ogun State Police Command has arrested six suspected notorious armed robbers with their operation car.
Police spokesman, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi who revealed this in a press statement said, police operatives attached to Onipanu Division performed the feat on Friday.
According to him, the suspects who specialized in robbery and snatching cars at Ire-Akari Community and in entire Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area of the state were arrested through a tip-off from the community.
He also revealed that, four of the suspects have been identified by the community.

OGUN POLICE ARREST 6 SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBERS,RECOVER OPERATION CAR
With the efforts of the Ogun State Police Command to solidify security arrangement during ember months period in Ogun State, operatives attached to Onipanu Division of the Command on Friday arrested 6 suspected armed robbers who specialized in robbery and snatching cars at Ire-Akari Community and in entire Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogin State.
The suspects were arrested by the police operatives after a tip-off from the community and fierce surveillance placed on the suspects throughout the night,after their operations in the same area,before the arrest at about 0500 hrs.
At least 4(four) out of the suspected armed robbers,whose syndicate has been terrorising the area for a while,have been identified by victims of their various operations all over the Local Government Area and beyond.
The suspects include Temituru Oluwafemi,m,Ibrahim Hakeem,m,Bablola Olufujabi,m,Ajadi Adesoji,m,Taye Ogede,m,and Bakare Sakiru.
Their operation vehicle,Golf 3,Black,with Reg No LSR 86 CA ,dangerous weapons and assorted charms were recovered from them.
The Commissioner of police Ogun State,CP Abdulmajid Ali,has directed that the suspects be transferred to the Department of Criminal Investigation and Intelligance Eleweran Abeokuta for proper investigation and prosecution. The Commissioner of Police has emphasized on robust intelligence-driven and community-based policing as acceptable and effective tool towards adequate security in Ogun State.
